Freshwater drinking station

It’s been good to see our new freshwater drinking station on the Village Green being put to good use this summer – stop round and grab a mouthful, fill up your drink bottle or hydrate the puppers!

The LDPA was consulted by Taswater and the City of Launceston as to a suitable location for the fountain. The central Village Green was selected for the project, rather than the Falls Reserve, as it has access to good quality water (the Falls water comes from the river) and is a popular spot for visitors.
