Lilydale Events Group (LEG)
About the Lilydale Events Group
The Lilydale Events Group (LEG) was established as a sub-committee of the Lilydale District Progress Association (LDPA) in 2023 to conduct and support community events in the Lilydale district.
Lilydale has a long history of events that bring people together throughout the year. Two of the events conducted by LEG are:
- The annual Christmas Carols concert
- The Winter Solstice Lantern Walk
LEG also supports the annual Big Day Out at the Lilydale Recreation Ground in October.
LEG works with a range of community organisations, including the Lilydale Lions Club and Lilydale District School, to stage events that enhance the local community and bring the people of Lilydale together.
How to get involved
Volunteer
For each event, we always need volunteers to help with:
- Event organisation
- Setup before the event
- Assistance on the day
It’s a great way to meet people and contribute to the Lilydale community!
