About the Lilydale Memorial Hall

The Lilydale Memorial Hall is a historic community venue located in the heart of Lilydale, Tasmania. Since its opening in 1955, the hall has been a key location for local events, including markets, concerts, fundraisers, and meetings.

Currently the Memorial Hall is managed by the City of Launceston. However, the Lilydale District Progress Association is negotiating with the City of Launceston to lease and manage the hall for the benefit of the community. If that is successful, then bookings will be available from this site. In the interim, please visit the City of Launceston’s booking page if you want to hire the hall.

The Lilydale Village Market is held monthly at the hall, featuring local produce, crafts, food stalls, and live music.
